Combined mount for Aruba Access Points and Patch Antenna

Product information "Combined mount for Aruba Access Points and Patch Antenna"

Made in Hamburg/Germanyorigin-flag

The combined mount for Aruba Access Points and patch antennas enables space-saving installation of Aruba Access Points with external patch antennas on walls or ceilings. The antenna is attached to the front section and – together with the front – can be tilted approx. ±15° to ±30° up or down depending on the access point in use. This saves both space and installation time, as only one mount is required for both AP and antenna. Material and color match our other indoor mounts: 1 mm zinc-plated steel, powder-coated, standard color white (RAL 9010); additional colors available upon request.

The Aruba Access Point is connected to the mount using the includedArubadaptor. Cable management remains unobstructed: all edges are deburred to protect cables. For wall or ceiling installation, up to six screw points are available; typically, three screws provide sufficient support.

Cisco to Aruba Adapter "Arubadaptor V2"
Cisco to Aruba Adapter "Arubadaptor V2"
Made in Hamburg/Germany The Cisco to Aruba Adapter “Arubadaptor V2” is the practical hardware solution for continuing to use existing Cisco ceiling and wall brackets while mounting new Aruba Access Points without drilling, patching or painting. The adapter bridges the mechanical differences between the two manufacturers and enables fast upgrades in offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, retail areas and logistics environments. Instead of dismantling old brackets and installing new ones, the Arubadaptor V2 is placed onto the existing Cisco bracket, after which the Aruba AP can be mounted directly – cleanly, securely, and usually without any downtime. This saves project time, costs and nerves, as dust, noise and coordination with other trades are largely eliminated. Made from durable stainless steel and manufactured in Hamburg/Germany, the Cisco to Aruba Adapter “Arubadaptor V2” is designed for longevity, serviceability and high repeatability. The hole pattern is engineered to fit common Cisco brackets starting from the AP1040 series (approx. 2009), while supporting the Aruba 500, 600 and 700 series on the Aruba side. All ports (PoE/Ethernet/Console) remain fully accessible, labels with serial and MAC addresses remain visible, and installation takes only a few minutes using the included screws. The result is a mechanically clean, audit-proof migration path from Cisco to Aruba – with no compromises in stability or appearance. Details Use Cases and Added Value In many existing buildings, dozens or even hundreds of Cisco brackets are already installed, labelled and integrated into cable routes. Installing new brackets means dismantling, patching, painting, dust protection, coordination with occupants and potentially downtime. The Arubadaptor V2 eliminates this effort by reusing the existing base plate so that only the access point itself needs to be replaced. This is especially advantageous in sensitive areas – such as operating zones, classrooms, hotel corridors, retail areas during opening hours, or dust-critical production zones. The consistent reuse of existing mounting points saves time, reduces risks and protects budgets, making migrations more predictable and economical. Material and Workmanship The adapter is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel with precisely manufactured hole patterns and deburred edges. The material withstands frequent installation/removal, resists everyday influences (e.g., vibrations from HVAC systems or tension on patch cables) and maintains dimensional stability. Its surface blends unobtrusively into ceiling and wall environments while remaining robust enough for technical rooms, storage areas or high-traffic corridors. The result is a long-lasting component that can still be mounted without play even after years, providing a reliable foundation for service-friendly AP locations. Compatibility and Future-Proofing The Arubadaptor V2 is designed for common Cisco brackets starting from the 1040 series (approx. 2009) and supports a wide range of Aruba APs (500, 600 and 700 series). This covers both older and current field installations. In day-to-day project work, this means mixed environments can be migrated step by step without the need to individually redesign each mounting point. Thanks to the mechanical focus, you remain independent of software versions or controller generations – the mechanical interface stays consistent, protecting your investment in the long term and simplifying future phased migrations. Ports, Labels and Service Access A common annoyance with universal brackets is obstructed ports or hidden labels. With the Arubadaptor V2, special care was taken to ensure that Ethernet/PoE and console ports can be accessed easily and that serial number and MAC address labels remain visible. Inventory management, asset management, warranty handling and device replacements can therefore be done without removing the bracket. This saves measurable time, especially in large rollouts or during regular inspections, and ensures clean documentation at every mounting point. Installation Process – Step by Step The installation follows a clear structure: Attach the Arubadaptor V2 to the Aruba AP Remove the existing Cisco AP Insert the Aruba AP with the Arubadaptor V2 tool-less into the existing Cisco mounting plate During preparation, the Arubadaptor V2 is screwed onto the rear of the AP. The Arubadaptor V2 can be mounted on site without tools. This process has proven itself in rollouts, minimizes potential errors, and enables teams to reliably upgrade many mounting points in a single day. The result is a repeatable, efficient workflow that balances cleanliness, quality and speed. Aesthetics and Cable Management Especially in visible areas, a tidy appearance is essential. The adapter itself visually recedes into the background, resulting in a uniform and professional look. The combination of stainless steel aesthetics and precise geometry ensures that the upgrade appears professional and integrates seamlessly into ceiling and wall surfaces. Cost Efficiency and Sustainability The greatest benefit of the solution lies in reusing existing infrastructure. No painting or patching, no new drill holes, fewer newly laid cables, less disposal effort: this reduces direct costs and time, protects the building structure and lowers environmental impact. Additionally, upgrades can be carried out in phases without closing large areas at once. This flexibility, combined with durable stainless steel, makes the Arubadaptor V2 a sustainable choice across multiple device generations. Scope of Delivery and Logistics The package includes the Arubadaptor V2 and the required screws. The Arubadaptor V2 can be shipped to you or directly to your deployment site. On request, we can also ship as a white-label variant. Typical Application Areas Office and administrative buildings with Cisco legacy infrastructure and Aruba target platforms Education (schools, universities), where low-noise, low-dust work is essential Healthcare (clinics, practices), where hygiene and minimal downtime are critical Hospitality & retail, where appearance and availability take priority Logistics/industry, where downtime is expensive and installation time is limited These examples show that the adapter provides immediate measurable value in a wide variety of environments and is therefore highly versatile. Advantages at a Glance Fast migration from Cisco to Aruba without new drill holes or dust exposure. Reuse of existing mounts → lower project costs and reduced downtime. Stainless steel, robust and durable – Made in Hamburg/Germany. Accessible ports and visible labels → service-friendly maintenance. Included screws, clear installation workflow → high repeatability. Broad compatibility with common Cisco and Aruba series. This list summarizes the key arguments and highlights why the Arubadaptor V2 provides significant relief during rollout, acceptance and ongoing operation.
